If it's just a crack why bother, it presents no danger and will not affect the function of the fire in any way?

Portable ones yes, fixed fires with an external flue or chimney no.

Thank you for your advice.
Firstly I went to Ambifuego, thought they are the fire people see how much there, 150 supply and fit. Took it to your place 62 euros. Both ceramic glass so guess which one I chose, yes, your one. Couldn't do it there and then but ready in the next few days. So thank you.

karen jones123 wrote:This is covered on you home insurance. You need today the glass in the window is broken. Check you insurance policy. I think you say window rather than door. Or you can take the door off and take it to the place we went to on the los montesinos Industrial estate. Cos us 30 euro a couple of years ago.
It was done while we waited.
My.husband gently tapped the hinge upwards and lifted the door off.
The unit, on the ind estate, i think is opposite the big Green unit. Would you like me to check for you?
