I read earlier this week the EU had given Spain permission to carry on with the electric discount,not sure what it is apart from a discount on vat.

The offer closes 12th dec. Stable tariff .12c kWh
I am going to change my contract however I am being charged 7 euro a month for hogar plus which I want to cancel.

If you message them they will end it for you. You can do it via their FB page. However before you do, check that you're not getting a discount in lieu of the cover as sometimes you can get 10% for having it for a 12 month period. Work checking.

I agree with Little Chris I got my bill last week it was for 33 days and it was €26.95 really happy!

Sounds like they are only charging you the standing charges not including the energy portion they have done that to me on a couple of bills but they charge it on the following bill

No its help from the goverement for the cost of living been like this for a few months same as the cheap fuel which ended a while ago.
