Anybody tried a change of address for the UK state pension?
So many phone numbers are invalid or waiting if your lucky for ages.
There is another blessed App they say will only take eight minutes. Yeah I bet LOL
Not long ago, last year in fact, it was easy to talk to someone in Newcastle. What is happenning theses days?
Is there a simple option?

You will need your Government Gateway ID and password. If you don´t have one, there is the option to create one.

They are actually!

At the beginning of the year I had terrible trouble getting through an hour and more waiting in line and when I did get through they were at home with a barking dog, I said for Christ sake give that bloody dog a bone and shut it up!! In a jokey voice of course. After about half a dozen attempts I got it all sorted out but it's bloody annoying. I thought things had improved, obviously not.

Yes it is shocking and frustrating when you've waited an hour and it cuts you off. There's nothing you can do but grit your teeth, get the right hump and try again.

My experience of dealing with UK pension or tax offices is ring up the minute they open,08 00 usually or 09 00 if you are in Spain.Good luck.
