Iberdrola

Iberdrola

Postby karen jones123 » Tue Dec 12, 2023 10:45 am

I finally received a reply from Iberdrola.
I realised I was being charged about 7 euro a month for
Protection Electrica Hogar Plus which I don't want and didnt ask for.
Fingers crossed it will be cancelled soon as I would like to renew my contract before the 15th December which is when the new offer finishes. 0.12 per kWh on stable tariff.

Have a look at the t&c's it looks like a condition of the discount is having "Protection Electrica Hogar Plus" for the duration of the contract. Tariff looks good at 0.12 Kwh though, it's showing 0.188 Kwh (until 15th Dec) when I checked.

I can't see anything about the hogar plus being compulsory. Can you tell me page 1 or 2 and the paragraph.
Thank you

There's a reference on first page first paragraph from the link. Needs reading.

Do check your power charges on these new price tariffs compared to what you are currently on, as they have increased. You need to use quite a few units to achieve the savings to pay for the increase in what we know as standing charge.

Power charges are per Kw so these figures need to be multiplied by 5.75 if you are contracted for that power supply, to give a yearly total.

I am green with envy .12kw. We are paying from .34 to .37kw in Ireland. We must have the dearest electricity in the world at this stage.

If you sign a contract with Iberdrola in 2021. Do not cancel it .
The fixed rate is so good 0.011 i think per kWh. All you do with the new contact is give Iberdrola €7 + iva per month for home insurance. On your electric items fridge . Dishwasher , god & Oven
