I got mine through my lawyer sgm Abogados as they're agents of Liberty. They were the best price with the cover I needed.

Does anyone know an insurance broker that is truly independent and actually gets the best quote rather than just what the insurance company they are tied into provides

Hi everyone
With regards to this question, it is undoubtedly the cover required and not the insurance company that counts.
We had a water leak recently we think from a skylight and the company ( a subsidiary of Caisha bank?) won’t even come out to look at it!!
This occurred in October.
We are still working on getting this sorted but as I said, not the company but what type of insurance coverage you have.

You are referring to an insurance agent not an insurance broker who is free to get quotes from any insurance company or Lloyds of London as they are not tied to any compant but there are very few true Brokers in Spain, the agent can only quote from the company they are registered to also they must be registered with the DGS in Madrid and will have a Registration number from them.
