If you are moving over then yes, you can bring your personal household items with no customs charges.
You must show you are changing residency and that you resided outside Spain for a period not less than 1 year and that you've owned the goods for more than 3 months.
You can't bring goods that attract duty like alcohol etc nor goods for professional use, just household items, furniture, clothes etc.

You can also claim this up to 12 months of residency if you've been charged duty.

Having carried out removals for many years anything that comes into Spain is taxable as since leaving the EU you are classed as inporting goods be it your own or not, customer last year brought goods over in a van and was stopped at the port entering Spain he paid 400 euros tax we did the rest of his move.

Have travelled many many times to Spain over recent years, pre and post brexit, via dover and via Santander, car and van, variation of loads, never once been asked about any of it, not once. The most I can recall is an open of the doors, a quick look in, and thank you goodbye. I can’t guarantee it for “you” but based on my experiences, the chances of it being an issue to you is an absolute minimum. Happy travels.

We have also travelled via santander on many occasions over the last 20 years both post and pre brexit with house hold items new and old without any issues. That said always in a car avan may be a different scenario and more likely to pulled out and checked??

Do the Newhaven Dieppe crossing, Once the French customs guys finds out you are travelling on to Spain and not stopping in France, they lose all interest and wave you through. I did it twice with a packed van when we were working on our villa and furnishing it. On advice of the B'ham chamber of Commerce I did have a full list of what I had in van with approx values, just in case they did show any interest.
