Cheapest fee at atm machine

Hi my boyfriend wants to use his English Nat West debit card to withdraw euros from an atm machine in Ciudad center.Which banks machine charges the least fee.Think I’ve heard that sabidell is the cheapest.We bank with la Caixa bank.Thank you

Most banks charge a fee but the lowest I’ve found is Sabadell which charges a set fee of €1.80 for any amount be it twenty or five hundred

Sabadell is the cheapest but be careful because they ask do you want it converted in euros or pounds. Euros every time.

BBVA have a free account. It costs nothing at all. I just send money from Revolut to it, it transfers instantly, and then I can withdraw from an BBVA ATM for free.

Yes La Caixa 7 euros per transaction thats why i stand in the queue at Sabadell 1.80 per transaction i use a Nationwide card.

If your boyfriend opened a UK Santander account he could withdraw cash from any mainland Santander ATM fee free and at the Visa rate, using his UK debit card. (Just make sure that you press the "no conversion" when prompted)

Are you sure Paul ?

I too have a Santander uk account and was under the impression that fee free withdrawals were at Santander ATM's only ? Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

We went to use BBVA 2 weeks ago in Almoridi and they wanted to charge us 6-10€ , so we cancelled the transaction and went along to Sabadell only 1-80€.
