New/Used car dealers in the region of Quesada

Hello everyone reading this. I expect the information that I need is on the forum somewhere but I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. I’ve been here a couple of months now and need to buy a car. I don’t know that a used car is what I’m looking for as the second hand trade is very expensive, so think I will bite the bullet and go for new (unless anyone can inform me differently). I’m looking to find new car dealers in the region and would be greatful for your experiences or information relating to where to go to buy a car. i.e. is there an area (for example Torrevieja) where there are groups of dealers that I can visit in one go to find a car? Thanks in advance.

Got our car from Autos Direct.

In Torrevieja in this street you will find several car dealers - Seat, Ford, Peugeot, Mazda etc.

As mentioned, Avda de Cortes Valencianas in Torrevieja and also the N340 entering Elche from Crevillente.

Again, thanks. What is it with the second hand market out here? Why so expensive? I get it, don’t moan about the prices once you’re here. But what’s the story with second hand?

UK has many company cars and hire firms that get rid of loads of vehicles once they get to a few years old. That market is not so strong here and not as many come on the market.

It works out badly if you're buying but you are quids in when selling. Part exchange rates will be higher as well. Many countries are like this. The second hand market in Cyprus where I lived was the same.

There's also the pound going into freefall that makes seems higher as well. My first car I bought here was 6 thousand euro which was 4 thousand pound at the time and fairly comparable to UK prices. That same 6k car would now be around 5.250 pounds. Rather a big difference.
