Pellet burners

Does anyone have experience of installing a pellet burning stove? We have been told that if we do this, we have to have an Inspection to provide us with a certificate which is a legal requirement. This inspection costs. 350€ Which is half the cost of the stove itself! Does anyone know whether this Certificate is, indeed, a legal requirement, or is it a try – on on behalf of the shop?

We had ours installed in September. The cost for the commission was in the price we paid legal certificate issued when inspection and tested. I think to have it cleaned every year and checked us 150 but slot if people don’t bother.
