Wise account and transfers

Hi. I am in the process of investigating if I can use my 'Wise' card to make a house purchase here. My plan is to transfer the monies from my UK account into my 'Wise', then use the balance to pay for the purchase. I'm getting conflicting information stating that the maximum transfer onto a 'Wise' account is £3000 per month. I know this is incorrect as I have previously made larger transfers than this personally. I think the 3K myth is when you are loading your 'Wise' card, not the 'Wise' account.

Anyway. Anyone used a 'Wise' account to pay for a house before? If so, were there any hurdles to get through?

We used wise to purchase property. No issues what so ever...

Can I ask, can I transfer Euros from my Euro account to a wise account. Example my sister in law is going to spend a few days at my villa, for her birthday, she needs euros, can she get a Wise Euro account, and I transfer Euros to it? She prefers not to carry a lot of cash!

Yes you can send your euros to here account I have just done it took a total of 2 minutes for the transfer from my account to my Daughters

is anyone having trouble transferring money with wise today?

ust used Wise no problems at all

Same currency transfers between Wise accounts are free of charge.
