Driving licence expiry?

May be wrong but I didn't think they sent reminders?

You say "another 5 years" so does that mean it's a 10 year licence which you would normally get if under 65 when you acquired it?

As it's from the medical centre I'd ask them why they have sent it to you.


There is nothing which requires you to undergo additional medical exams during the validity of a your licence unless you have groups above B+E and want to retain them in which case yes, periodic medicals are required, but otherwise the licence is valid until the end date printed on it in, 2029 in your case.
