Form for someone to drive my car.

I believe I need to fill in a form to allow visitors or family to drive my car. Does anyone know what this form is called and where I can get it. TIA.

It's sensible to provide a borrower with proof that they have permission to be driving your car but there is no legal requirement for it neither is the N332 form a legal document, you just as easily scribble something on a piece of paper.

It's not official, just something they have put together themselves for convenience.paulparkes wrote:Will send you the official Trafico form later on this afternoon.
If it were in any way official it would be from DGT not N332.

Thank you all for the replies. My wife drives the car (infrequently) and I was told I'd need an official letter of permission for her. We keep notarized copies of our driving licenses, TIE's and passports in the car at all times along with car ownership documents. All seems excessive but if that's what we have to do.

Isn't a permission to use the car form for you wife just a little OTT? I did one for my SiL when he came out but I've never had one for my wife.
Plus carrying TIE and passport is also a bit OTT. Even hotels and internal airlines simply accept the TIE as identification. Even the glorious red tape loving banks just accept the TIE.

Yeah, we don't carry the actual documents. We have the notarized documents in the car. It all seems excessive to me, but we were told to do it in case we ever get pulled over by a strict member of the police force.
