Rental Apt and informing the Police of the guests?

Rental Apt and informing the Police of the guests?

Postby Paulwilko10 » Tue Jan 16, 2024 4:17 pm

Hello

We are just starting our rental business and am slightly confused how we go about informing the police of who is staying.

Can anyone kindly let me know the procedure please.

Do we physically goto the station or is there an online portal or something?

Many thanks

Paul

You should get the details with your tourist license, it is done online.

My solicitor sorted my license, everything came in a pack, you need to keep the guests details on file for 3 years, good luck.

I don't rent any more, but used to register my guests here: https://hospederias.guardiacivil.es/hos ... uracion.do

I got the username and password by taking all my documents to the Guardia Civil station at Almoradi.

You will have to go in person to the nearest Guardia Civil Barracks/Station. You will need to make an appointment. You take your holiday let licence, your NIE No, your Passport and the registration form. All the information is in this video from Spanish Dream Homes

Guardia Civil notice on new regulations for new registrations. This site has the application form you need to take with you when you get an appointment.
