Advertising Scam?

There was an advert of sorts with very large letters on the forum yesterday advertising
supply of Identity cards etc, very unusual, it has now been removed. Was this some form of scam?

It was for fake passports etc so yes in a way

Yes a scam that was viewed over 300 times on this forum so no doubt they just chance their arm across all the free online forums as they will get a bite somewhere.
