However you voted in the referendum you need to look at the overall picture before blaming everything on Brexit. The World has suffered a cost of living crisis. In Spain food and energy prices have spiralled and that's not down to Brexit. The NHS waiting lists have grown because of Covid and doctors strikes and immigration controls have been inoperable because of the European courts and the unwillingness of the French to take proper action no matter how much has be given to them. You might sensibly argue that it has all been badly handled by successive governments.
Like it or not the vote was to leave. If everyone put the same effort into making it work that they expend trying to reverse it I wonder how much more ahead of European economies The U.K. might be.

It doesn’t really matter what anyone makes of it because it will not change anything. It happened and is unlikely to be reversed in the near future. Bit like everything else that happens, you need to get over it as revisiting it won’t change anything.

Difficult one as many of the remoaners and obstructers are in the civil service and they remain in power no matter who governs. It needs a leader with focus and determination and a cabinet that will back him/her. Unfortunately I don't see either at the moment. Most politicians are only intent on furthering their career not in doing what is best for the country.

Britain is in decline. Some on here may refute the fact, but Brexit has accelerated that process and Britain's immigration crisis is nothing to do with the EU, France ior anyone else for that matter. You made your beds, lie in it.
No one was lied to. The Scots and the Irish got the same nightly news propaganda and daily media articles and managed to vote overwhelmingly to Remain. That England and Wales didn't is down to voters in those countries. A lot ( not all) was based on racist views, others mistakenly made it a protest vote against the Tories. Wrong time , wrong place to do that, unfortunately.
However, as others have said there's no going back and I doubt any English expats in Spain would ever dream of living back in the UK... ..even if they could afford to.
Try forget about the UK, enjoy the sunshine and remember, you live in a much better country at the centre of Europe and all that it's good for.

I think some people need to look further afield for their sources of information.Or are EU countries doing wonderfully well.Such as farmers protests in France,Netherlands.Rail strike and general economic gloom in Germany.Worry about right wing parties doing well in elections and possible taking power. Some countries even considering pulling out of the EU.Soon have even more countries to be paid for;Ukraine ? Moldova ? Albania ? North Macedonia ? Greece is already finished financially .Italy too ?
As said above our economic welfare has been betrayed by traitors like the civil service and numerous anti democratic politicians.
Not long until the EU elections in june. Will we have a democratic vote which will be accepted and acted upon?
