Doctor required for Residentia Medical Report

Doctor required for Residentia Medical Report

Postby prefect » Tue Feb 06, 2024 1:19 pm

My friend from France is applying for Spanish Residentia and has been informed that
They require a medical report stating they are free from infectious diseases etc,
They have not been able to obtain this report from the Quesada medical centre clinic
and are unaware of where to obtain the document.
This report probably has to be signed by a Doctor, Any help would be appreciated

Normally supplied by their own doctor who has access to their medical records. If applying from UK it has to be your doctor in UK so imagine they would require the same from France.

Maybe contact a private clinic, such as Quiron, to check them over and possibly supply them with the required certificate.

Their own Dr could/would not sign their documents which has a list of serious diseases highlighted, instead they were presented with a 2 page document highlighting their current medical problems and treatment.
Instructions with the official Medical Report Document states==
IT MUST SPECIFICALLY MENTION THE INTERNATIONAL HEALTH REGULATIONS (2055) ON THE DOCUMENT

Hi,
This place will do it for you. And it’s best done in Spain because it won’t need translating. It was very straightforward. I emailed them and they came back with a quick appointment.

Good luck.

We came from France. The medical certificate is a specific document that you can download with specific wording. Then you have to take it to your oxn GP from where you apply from, EG France in this case and you have to have it translated into Spanish and it is enclosed with all your paperwork for your visa. I cannot be done by a doctor in Spain.
