planning permission

hi, how long does it take to get planning permission, i have a small bungalow and am concidering getting another floor put on, creating 1 bed and bathroom. thanks mick.

Varies between municipalities and whether it’s major or minor works license.
You’re down as living in Torrevieja so I would ask at the ayuntamiento there how long it takes. Generally if they say something like 8 weeks, don’t expect to shave more than a couple of days of that time.

Friends of ours in Quesada have just got permission for a small pool from Rojales town hall. They waited around three months.

Speak to an architect as you'll needs plans drawn up, they'd have a good idea.
