Withdrawing cash from ATM today

My husband needed to make a cash withdrawal from an ATM using his WISE Card so I Told him not to go to Sabatel as they charge €4 for the service but to use Deuche Bank as it charged €1.80. How did I know this ? My forum , ok. Off he went and made his withdrawal and was charged €4.
Disappointing result. Thought I’d inform anyone who is interested.

Sabadell charges 1.80 took money out this week with my Wise Card

Sorry Rosemary you have given hubby duff info, it's Sabadell that charges €1.80.
Until recently Deutsche was zero but now charge.

I used my Wise card in a Euronet ATM machine with no charges.

I opened a BBVA online account. Its absolutely free of charge. All I do is transfer funds (top it up) from either N26 or Revolut or Wise, and then I can withdraw cash from BBVA ATMs absolutely free. There are absolutely 100% no charges at all for the account.

It is also handy for direct debits for the few annoying companies who insist on only using Spanish accounts for direct debits.

Thank you for sharing the link. Have you had the account long enough to test whether they will want to charge the biennial fee for non residents which seemed to get ever larger with Sabadell. I'm with Wise and get fee free cash from Santander ATM because I have a UK account, but this might be good for back up.

I have not had it long enough to know, plus Im a resident so it would not be on my account if it was.

Its great you get free cash from Santander, I did not know that!

The BBVA online account is for residents only.

However, if you are Spanish resident and your Wise card was issued to you at your Spanish address, there are no ATM fees at BBVA if you use it there. The screen may say there are, but nothing happens. I use my Wise card at the Rojales branch every month to withdraw my fee-free €200.
