Air conditioning

Hi does anybody use a portable air conditioning machine if so are they any good and best place to get them tia

I have seen quite a few makes of them in Carrefour. But do you always need to vent them to the outside?

I've had a Mobile Air conditioner, but sold it las year - I done a lot of research, and read loads of reviews, but wasn't totally happy with it, hence why I sold it. You have to vent the pipe through to the outside, but I found it was far to loud, especially during night. I tried dampening the noise down, by placing the unit on rubber matting, but it was still too loud. I find the fixed ac with the outside fitted fan etc. is by far better.

Buy a fan instead but be careful with the dust thrown up - particularly at night
