Tax on goods from America

My husband wishes to buy some cycling gear from a company in America. Has anyone had any experience of this and is able to advise on the rates of the customs charges please?

To be on the safe side calculate with 10% import tax on the total of the goods including the shipping costs. And then 21% on top of that total.

This is certainly a possibility as it's a bike seat that he wants. The seat costs $370. Aside from delivery do you think there would be other fees to pay if it did go to UK?

import tax is not very high in uk on goods from USA
Has he put the details of the seat in google you may find it is also sold in the EU
What is the make and model of the seat

The seats are hand made by a us company
