Sale of Easter palm branches 21 March

At Rojales market on Thursday 21st March you can see/buy the palm branches to carry for the palm Sunday procession if you want to.
The tradition I gather is following Palm Sunday to hang them up in or outside your house until Ash Wednesday next year when you burn them.

Elche sends a white palm branch to the Pope for Palm Sunday. It's traditional for Catholics (don't know about other religions) to get a bottle of Easter water after it is blessed on Holy Saturday and a sprig of palm after the blessing of the palm on Palm Sunday.
