Red wine in a plastic bottle

I’ve just seen a picture of a mercadona bottle of red wine 13.5% by vol, the person said it was €2.80 per litre bottle, but it was like in a cheap fizzy drink type bottle with a plastic twist cap!
If I can get a pic I’ll post it. Vino tinto!
I can’t drink red it gives me a very bad headache. White, no problem, even rose is ok. But red, is a no no.
I’m not a big drinker but on a hot day, I simply love a San miguel ice cold beer..

I think it's becoming obvious that I really need sunshine, sea, sand and Ciudad Quesada….

Plenty of cheap red wine in plastic containers in all supermarkets some is not too bad

Is it the same for white? Can I get loads of cheap but good white?

Yes you can you can also take your plastic containers to a Bodega that sell from the barrel
