Don’t know if this is true or not. We were watching Bargain loving brits and one couple said “ to get your residency you had to speak Spanish”? Never heard of this before. We have our residency and didn’t need to speak Spanish.

To be a Spanish Citizen you have to take a Spanish test to be a Spanish Resident you do not
