Car Tax (suma)

I believe that car tax payments are due around this time of year. Up to now I haven't received a bill. This is my first time paying. Should I wait for the bill or just go to the Suma office. What would I need to bring with me. I haven't set up a direct debit so it won't be coming straight out of the bank. I've been told I can't pay online without the reference number on the bill.

Bills should be coming this month, but you have until 10th May to pay.

You've been misinformed because you can pay online with just your NIE and car reg. which you use for the reference number.

No need to wait for a letter which may not come (took them 3 whole years before they finally sent me a bill!)
No need to personally visit a SUMA office.
No need for a DD.

I really don't know why so many people seem to get stressed over this but it's the same every year.

Also depends how long you have owned the car, whoever owned the car on the 1st of January 2024 pays it for this year.
But has already been said, you can pay it online anyway.

Just go down to the Suma office in Rojales with you NIE or passport and pay .
They open at 8.30 in the morning.
I went today at 8.40 am and was 6 people in front of me.

That's different from the 10th of May as previously stated.

Just been to my comunal post box and there was my Suma bill for my vehicles for this year with a reminder inside that I have until May 10th to pay and methods of how to pay. I use the scanner at the cash machine at the bank scanned and paid so so easy. No price increase this year on both scooter and car. Cant be bad.
