ALILUZ

We have had a guy call at the house this morning from Aliluz Mediterráneo. He tells us that if we change over to his company they can save us 20% in the first year. Iberdrola still remains our supplier but we are billed by this new company. I guess they are buying electricity at a discounted rate and passing a small amount of discount onto the customer. Has anybody had any experience of this company and are willing to share them? I get a good feeling about this but you never know.

Why is it a con?
Elaborate as such a comment is unhelpful.

We switched to Aliluz on the promise of 20% off the Iberdrola price and , yes, it shows up as such on your bill.
What they don’t tell you is that their price per kWh is more then Iberdrola therefore the savings are negligible if any.
I’m also beginning to wonder if Aliluz have gone out of business as they’re impossible to contact by phone and there was talk of a merger between them and another company.
I asked them to put me on their duel tariff in February 2019 and they’ve never done this and now they never answer the phone. Stay well clear. They’re a dispicable company.
