electric meter

does anyone know if all properties have an electric meter, or are some read at the electric company only ! because I can't find mine. unless some are at a communial area ?

Yes, all properties have an electric meter but they are not inside the house if you live on a community. They will be behind a door and, lots of the time, outside the community if gated. This was to allow the meter reader access. They are currently being replaced with smart meters and can be read centrally.
One of your neighbours must know where they are located.
