Has anyone had any problems with their electric supply?

Has anyone had any problems with their electric supply?

Good evening everyone.
We have a holiday home there in Quesada in Marquesa V. This morning the woman who looks after our property when we are not there rang to say that the electric had tripped out. She has tried to reset the fuseboard but that hasn't worked. Has anyone else in the area had problems today.

If you want to try & identify the problem, ask her to turn off all the individual small trip switches. Then turn on the main trip switch (it should stay on ok as no circuits are being supplied). Then turn on the small trip switches one at a time. Wait a few seconds after turning on each on to see which one trips off the main switch. As soon as that happens, switch off that particular small switch & switch the large main trip switch back to On. Continue to switch on the small switches until they are all On except the one that trips off the main one.
If the main trip switch wont stay On at all, there is probably an Earth leakage somewhere. Call an electrician.
I am not an electrician but I have done this process of elimination successfully.
