There are a lot of special deals as they are very keen to get gas to as many houses as they can. I had a really good deal on central heating. Suggest you get the rep to come and give you a quote for what you want

Hi If they offer to put it in free why not sign up you don't have to get them to do the Boiler installation,

I got someone with a much better system and better boiler a better price than the gas company, just make sure you get a condensing boiler as they do not offer these as standard the ones they offer are very inefficient in comparison an would no longer be allowed in the UK! ;)

Hi our road has just been done and I with many of my neighbours have signed up. I understand that there are various companies who are contracted by the Natural Gas entity to roll this out so they offer different deals. We were approached by SIMA. Their offer is "free" installation plus a free water boiler. They were not really after central heating installation but you could get a quote for that if you wanted that. We had it done because it is an essential first step which would cost a lot more if you wanted gas in the future. Whilst I have no doubt this is a good deal it is not entirely free. At least ours was not. We have to pay €182 plus vat, (which you could pay over 2 years with your bills.). I think this is a government tax so I think they will all charge this.
There was no option to "just have the installation". You have to have the gas connected to something, which for most of my neighbours (mostly non residents) is the water heater. Also bear in mind there will be a small standing charge for the meter 2 or 4 euros. Suggest you get the contact numbers from neighbours. But given the proximity of your location it is probably the same outfit as ours so if it is any help you can contact Danny or Marilo at SIMA on these numbers respectively: 606925123 654787391. Keep trying if you don't get a response they are very busy.

We applied for gas to be fitted to our house, signed up and all ready to go, then they told us as only 4 houses wanted the gas not able to fit. Totally unfair. Does any body else have the same problem.
We do live in the centre of Quesada been fitted all around us.

We signed up for the installation in June, they have been useless they turn up on the door without prior appointment want to use our ladders and finally six months after trying to get everything installed they arrive today to install the flue and the fitter wants to smash a hole through the tiled roof and then leave it for me to repair.
when i refused the fitter started throwing pieces around in my house, i had to threaten him and i'm a 50 year old who currently has a broken back!
oh and they started billing us three months ago even though we have no gas appliances as we only want a water boiler which they still haven't fitted and have now threatened us with legal action.
avoid its just no worth the hassle.
will now seek a full refund via the courts.

Seeing the way they are running the gas into many properties, which to say the least is Mickey Mouse, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole!!!

Hi sorry to hear your problems we have had gass instaled in Benimar and things went realy well the instalation was excellent they put the pipework exactly where we asked and the fitters were great our only issue was with the central heating they were going to fit so we got an independant installer who did an exelent job. The problem seems to be each area is contracted out to the lowest bidder so areas vary I would suggest people with problems get together to confront them it may have more impact.

We had natural gas installed 2 months ago to run our combi boiler water & heating. No more big propane bottles and for the first time in years our is cosy and warm and the bill is less. We are happy bunnies.
