Help with payment frequency for electric

Re: payment frequency for electric

It is all a rip off. If I had of been told about the electric , Bank and the water bill charges I would never of bought in Spain. In Cyprus you have a standing charge of 2.10 euros plus vat for Electric and for the water you have a standing charge of 2.60 plus vat and no charge in the bank there. I was also told to day that on another Spanish Island they do not have these charges. In Spain I have to pay 60 euros to keep my own money in the bank and 25euros for a card. My water bills is the same if I am there or not. I pay the same as you are paying and as for the Electric I went down to the office to see how I could get it reduced and I was able to put the kwh energy charge down to 0.124107 and the subscribed power is 4600w I could not go any lower or I could not put a few different thing on together in the house This contract is for a year and they charged me 10.90 to set the contract up. They just get you every way.

((fixed costs + tax)+ vat PLUS (consumption+tax)+vat)) = total invoice
period 66 days (14/2->21/4)

[list]
[*]potencia fixed = 66d x 0,115187 = 41,81€ ( on contracted 5,5kw)
[*]consumption 661 kwh x 0,124107 = 75,83€
[*]on that 4,864% taxes x 1,05113 = 6,01€
[*]hiring meter etc... 66 days x 0,000986 = 0,07€
[*]on all of that 21% VAT = 25,98€
[*]TOTAL= 149,70€
WITHOUT consumption, invoice for the same amount of days would have been only for the fixed costs + tax + VAT
or: 53,26€ - exactly 1 year ago we only paid for this 25€ !!!!
Price consumption/kw stayed roughly the same
we receive invoices (digital) and are debited every 2 months
we are with IBERDROLA

Hi SALUKI,

Thank you for that very interesting and helpful information. We have noticed the rise in costs but it's still not as high as in the UK.

Can you tell me where the bills are on the IBERDROLA Virtual customer office as I always have trouble finding them? I seem to find them after a long time trying each time but then don't know how I found them for the next time I go in on-line.

I have been trying again this morning and I want to list them on here for blackvelvet to see.

Thanks for any help.
