Hidraqua - Contact Form Phone No...!

Hidraqua - Contact Form Phone No...!

Postby white_hart » Sat Aug 27, 2016 12:01 pm

Hi there!

We recently purchased a property in the area. We're based in the UK, and we're trying to contact Hidraqua via their contact form on their website, in order to get a copy of our bill sent to us.

https://hidraqua.aguasonline.es/en/contacta

Thing is - "telephone number" is a mandatory field, and I can't for the life of me work our what format they want it in...have tried our UK numbers (with +44, 44 and 0044 at the front!), have tried their own 9-digit customer services number, and have tried several other Guardamar numbers beginning 966, just in case their website was that clever!!! Have tried with spaces and without, and have tried formats like (+34) 999 999 999...!

All to no avail!

Does anyone have any ideas what format the number should be in?!!!

If I had hair, I'd be pulling it out...!!!

Thanks!!

Alan

Alan or anybody

Help I've already pulled out all my hair - well what little I had anyway ))

I'm having similar issues with this site trying to sign up for there Virtual Office as we have recently purchased a property. As part of the purchase our solicitor was supposed to have transferred all the utility services to our name but we are still getting (a) billing in the previous owners name (b) high bills - but we are in the UK which begs the question why?

Hidraqua's registration form need my NIE - OK I have one of those so copied it EXACTLY as it is on the letter when we registered for NIE and the website says invalid

So I thought OK I'll use the Contact Us section of there site and ask why this form is broken
Wrong answer - it also for some reason needs my NIE which it does not recognise so I cant contact them that way.

As we are in the UK I dont want to spend ages on the phone to them with the added disadvantage that my Spanish is poor.

So does anyone have a real email address for them?
If I have to call them does anyone know if the 902250270 number works from UK with 0034 in front
Do the people on this line speak/understand English

I'm rapidly losing the will to live and I've not ever started with Electric and Gas ((

Many Thanks
Vera and Geoff

Hi there Vera & Geoff!

Eventually, I gave up! I wanted to try to sort things out myself, but eventually resorted to contacting my solicitor and getting her to speak to Hidraqua instead! I think I did get past the NIE issue...they wanted it entered with no hyphens.

We too had what I thought was a high "first" water bill which is why I wanted to get hold of them...but from other things I've read, I now don't think it was too high...€80, but I'm led to believe that the bills are quarterly.

:text-goodpost:

I was going to say similar - In the very early days of moving into our property I contacted our solicitor to check that the bills were in our name and that direct debits were set up and she did check with the companies for us. It gave us peace of mind, as it only takes one or two bills to 'appear' to go unpaid and the utilities in Spain will cut off the connection, which results in a high re-connection charge.

A solicitor who has dealt with the house sale should be able to be contacted by email to do this, although it helps if they are retained for the tax dealings as then they will help with anything that crops up anytime - Well that's our experience anyway.

Thanks both

We also thought that using a solicitor would be the best option, but although they claimed to have done the work. When I ask for confirmation that say talk to the utility companies.

When I asked about the "high" bill they said talk to the utility company. There is nothing they can do.

Jan - Should I name and shame the solicitor on here ?

No best not to for various reasons -Not least because of libel laws but there is always the Private Messaging option if anyone really needs to know.

Alan

I may have made this form work ))

NIE as you suggested without minus sign

I then looked on WikiPedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone ... s_in_Spain and made up a number to meet the correct Spanish format.

I then added a line within the message with my UK mobile and it seems to accept everything and came back with confirmation that my message had been sent ))

Hi, thanks for the posts above, they really helped. I had a similar problem trying to activate the account on-line. I took your advice and removed the hyphen from the NIE number and then I shortened my mobile to 9 digits after reading an article which said Spanish telephone numbers are nine digits long. My message has now been sent so fingers crossed i get a reply.
