HI Alicante,

You say there are a lot of others with the same issue. I would try, however difficult, to contact those affected and as a group go to the Iberdrola office in Guardamar and make a complaint.
It may also be advisable to ask one of you Lawyers to attend with the group.
I would instruct the Bank to continue paying a monthly amount to Iberdrola, perhaps the 100€ you normally pay. This may stop them from cutting your supply.
Good luck.

900 225 235 24 hour service.

They have an office in Guardamar at c/ Era de la Madaleneta, 9 and in Torrevieja at c/ Concordia, 5.
There is also a website with a "virtual assistant" in English. I haven't used it but it might be worth a go.
Iberdrola
That site also gives you maps of where their offices are.

Hi Alicante
What a nightmare!
I have just looked on the Ibedrola website. Under the 'Client attention' tab they give an English speaking helpline which is 900 322 044. You can raise all sorts of queries and give meter readings. I assume you read your meter and have a reading. Would be good if you had the last reading to compare it to to show how much you have used. In the past when they over-estimated a bill and I Phoned with a meter reading and told them I had been away since the last one, they automatically lowered and sent me a new bill. Suggest you give the above number a go.
Good luck
