Natural gas

Hi all,

Does anybody have the email address needed to register one's interest in having natural gas services?

It is something like '[email protected]' but this keeps failing for me. I have tried different ways of
spelling but no joy so far.

Hi jordy
If you are in the dona pepa area you will have a long wait for Natural gas as it does not seem to have the pipework installed,the best you will get is bottled gas.
If they do get natural gas i will be moving over as i am a Qualified gas engineer.

Just to upset you all, we now have natural gas. Originally the reps came round early summer to explain everything, costings, rates etc and to try and sign people up. Nothing for months and then they came back about 5 weeks ago, as roads were being dug up for the pipes to be laid. We asked for a rep to come back to us to talk it all thru again and we signed up for it. Within a matter of days all our pipework was in place. A phone call to ask if 1.00pm was convenient to connect us and that was it. No more gas bottles. We are at the very bottom of Pueblo Lucero and they are currently working their way up the hills. From what we could see, they manage up to 4 or 5 houses a day so it will take quite some time to get over to Donna Pepe!

When they installed your gas supply did they convert your LPG boiler for you.

So....how is it? What do you use it for? What costs are involved and is it good value? Was there much mess or disruption to your property?

Considering we've used mains gas all my life it's like learning to walk all over again in Spain.

Any pro's and cons you can highlight will be much appreciated. Thanks.
