They always did have an office in Rojales: CALLE CUARTO, 7 and their phone number was966712379 /966715977or you can just go down there. Better than calling a premium rate 902 number.

Hi Jan, I have recently had my water supply cut off apparently because of a missed payment in July 2012 and again in July 2013. I do not know how this has happened. The only thing I can think of is my old bank, Banco de Valencia was taken over by La caixa and thats when the problems seem to start. I pay about 48 euros a quauter even when Iam not there. I have also been disconnected by mistake, they got me mixed up with someone else. Iam pretty cheesed off by this as I have never been notified that they were going to cut me off. so imagine on arriving from the u.k. to find out you have no water. I know it is illegal to cut your water off in the u.k. so why does that not apply in Spain as we are all in the e.u. My place is in Formentera and I have no access to the utility room so I can not read my meter. I would be grateful if anyone could give the e-mail address for Hydraqua.cheers Arthur

Hi Arthur,
:text-welcomewave:

Welcome to TalkQuesada.

Sorry to hear your problems with your water supply. There is a contact form for Hidraqua on this link on their website :
https://hidraqua.aguasonline.es/en/contacta

I don't understand how they can cut people off so easily in Spain - I think there have been members of this forum who have had this happen to them in the past, hopefully someone can advise you.

If you haven't signed up for on-line billing, it's easy to do on the website: http://www.hidraqua.es/ and then it's easy to keep track of bills without having them go missing or languishing in your postbox in Spain. I signed up a couple of years ago and wished I'd done it sooner.

If you have any problems navigating the Hydraqua site, just ask. It isn't easy at first but I think I have the hang of it and may be able to help you.

I hope you get your water sorted soon.

Jan
