This is the reversal switch on a ceiling fan which i need to buy. Anyone aware of any electric outlets that specialise in this sort of thing?

I can probably get one from china but will most probably take a month to get here.

Bought one from Amazon, came from China by post, took 4days, and less than 1/4 price of local suppliers (Fereteria in Quesada)

Hi can you tell me what you put into amazon to find that exact switch? I can find fan switches but not that one.

It’s a Double Pole, Single Throw (DPST) slide switch with solder tags. Check the dimensions, as they come in a variety of sizes.

Top tip - turn the ceiling fan off before switching the direction change switch, otherwise it can go BANG!

Thanks. I put that in Amazon and found one or two which look like they would work but they don't provide the distance between the centre of both screw holes. Others didn't have the rating of 250/3. Did the same on ebay and they have DPDT switches but only offer delivery via tortoise.

The company that make the switch can send one but $20 seems a bit pricey to me.

Btw is didn't break by me switching it when the fan was on lol

No not yet, not open weekends.

They don’t sell them in CEF in the U.K.
