It certainly is! Our family have been going for years and I always have to get a pie when I’m visiting family and friends. Small world!

We lived in East Bierley & like you, would always have their pork pies when visiting family & friends. We're both drooling at the thought right now lol

We used to walk down to Cleck, stopping off at the Saville Arms on the way. Big John Armitage was the landlord.

My dad went to the Saville until 1985 when we moved but I was too young so don’t know who the landlord was.

This all started because I miss the pork pies from the UK.
We use to live in Stourbridge in the West Midlands and a local Butcher -Langs of Wollaston make incredible pork pies,
We or family use to bring them over to Spain but of course now not possible
The pies are made daily and there are different filling including my favourites the mexican and game pies, if you have friends or family in the area I recommend a visit

After stumbling across this post, and seeing as the Almoradi cafe is only just along the road, I thought I might as well pop in.

The pork pies are huge and cost €9.50 and they have jelly in them as many like. Personally I give the jelly to my dog, I hate it.
