And the best place to by building materials .

There's a place to hire stuff like ladders and scaffolding etc in Los Montesinos. Go through the town and it's up on your left. Also one in Torrevieja before you get to the lighting shop before Carrefour.
Building materials will depend what you want. Preyser by Consum in Dona Pepa has a good selection of things and Brico Depot in Crevillente has a large stock.
