I have a friend coming over in a few weeks who has a requirement to hire a car that has been adapted with hand controls. Does anyone know of a hire company that offers this facility?

As much as I’d like to help I think this might be a tall order here in spain, I hope I’m wrong. Would suggest you try the international car hire companies first such as Hertz or Europcar. Aqua Car are local and really helpful they might be able to scorch one for you even if it doesn’t come from them direct.

I’ve seen Hertz advertising adapted car hire in the past.

My wife drives an adapted car, so I know a bit about the subject. The adaptations would need to be fine-tuned to meet your friends specific requirements, so it’s likely to be an expensive charge on top of the already expensive hire charges.
