I am looking for some information on what to expect in restaurants locally pay wise for two roles. Firstly waiting staff and also a head chef.

I have researched online and looked at various job roles current and previous but pay is not disclosed.

This is to help towards a business plan which is in very early stages any information would be helpful

Thanks

Hi jodie all bars and restaurants pay different but you are generally talking 6/7e for waitresses and around 8/8.50 for head chef.. Some chefs will ask 10e but most will not pay this when the tips are included. . If tips are not included which some establishments don't pay to kitchen staff then 10e per hour would be normal.. hope this helps

The better pay to staff you give, the better staff you will have. Also, better paid staff the higher expectations you can demand. Happy staff always brings more repeat business guaranteed. Win win
