Unfortunately thanks to Brexit if you're a UK passport holder then you can no longer just rock up in Spain, or anywhere in the EU, and work.

Ask your gran how she voted as in large part it was the older generation who were responsible for snatching away those and many other opportunities many of which they themselves had enjoyed.
