Does anybody know why the local Ayuntamiento’s and police forces have interpreted the current entertainment regulations so differently
Some bars tell me they can’t have a quiz at all, some say they can buy can’t play recorded music and some say the can and do play recorded music
I’ve been to bars where they allow smoking and others that don’t
Who, out there, knows the real story as to why local authorities can’t talk to bar owners and why can’t they have uniform rulings ?

No I wish I did, the bar where I quiz on a Monday night have been told they will be denounced and have to pay a heavy fine yet another under Rojales was allowed to take place last night!

I was at a quiz in Rojales on Monday night and last week too
The local police don’t seem to have a problem there but, as you say, others are threatened with big fines
Why is there no uniformity ??

I agree there should be at the very least in the same municipality!

It's Spain where they can't even manage to operate consistent rules for official government business so what hope can there be for something as trivial as a pub or bar quiz
