We have just been debited for two Suma bills for September. The house Suma which we expected and also an additional Suma bill for just over 21 euros taken on the same date. No information available from the bank and no Suma(s) at the post office. Anyone any idea?

Not sure if this is the reason as I haven't had the extra bill. However, some areas have now taken the rubbish collection part of the water bill out and are charging separately for this. Previously, the rubbish collection (basura) has been on the water bill but others have also commented that SUMA now takes this a separate payment.
I may be totally wrong but the amount seems about right for the quarterly payment in which case your water bill should be correspondingly lower.

Thank you Marcliff. That is probably correct, the last water bill was lower. Another trip to the Suma office when we are next in Spain for a copy of that bill. At least I know that I will be asking for Basura in the Suma office.

Hi same with us, we had notification from our Solicitor that the payment would be taken on the 12th, checked our bank statement, Suma amount payed as per the notification but also a second payment to Suma at the same time for 20 ish Euro.
I guessed that it may for rubbish, as we are not over at the moment will check with Suma on our next visit, unless anyone can confirn earlier?
