Does anyone here pay quarterly rental income tax? If so can you let me know how strict they are on paying within the 20 day window. i.e. if I was to pay it after the window would it still be accepted?

We are back in Quesada on October 22nd which is a Sunday and the window shuts on Friday 20th, can I pay it on the Monday, the 23rd?

TIA

Hello TonTri.

Any quarterly tax on rental income must by PAID by the 20th of the following month, so for the quarter July-September, it must be paid by 20th October.

There are companies who will submit the forms and pay the tax on your behalf for a nominal fee.

HTH!

Hi Najizan

Yes our accountants will submit the forms for us, but they charge £24 so I was just seeing if I could avoid that this time seeing as it would only be 1 working day late. No worries, if it has to be paid by the 20th then so be it, I will have to get them to do it.

Thanks
