We supply all our financial details to our lawyer and they do it, I think you have to get an electronic signature ?? to do it yourself. It's expensive I think to get the lawyer to do it, cost us 70 euros each plus IVA and apparently they aren't meant to be making us do it anymore but they still are.

You should only have to do it each year if any of the categories increases by €20,000 or any one of the accounts is closed.
We pay our solicitor (I think) about 140 euro a year and they do all the 720, income tax returns and anything else that requires it. They also get our IBI and car tax bills which they file for us.

However, I did try to do the Modelo 720 online but gave up after about a dozen tries at getting a digital signature.
Due to the huge (and I mean huge) fines and penalties that they can charge for either not completing the 720 or missing something out made it sensible to let a solicitor or gestor do it in the first place.

Thank you Chrisdee and Marcliff I have the certificate and got to the draft stage and thought I would ask before sending it. As marcliff says due to the huge fines for incorrect details and the form isn’t user friendly best to get a professional to do it !!

Thank you Brightonsuperwomn I hope mine increases by more than €20,000 and have the need to do a 720 each year but I doubt it!
