I’m looking for recommendations for someone who can obtain an NIE for my fiancée (not 1 way services please as I was disappointed in their service when I changed my driving licence)

Again, requesting an appointment for an NIE comes up as none available which seems ridiculous.

I was not requesting an appointment simply gathering knowledge for future use

I would recommend going via SGM Abogados in Benijofar. They did my NIE with minimum of hassle a few years back and sorted Residencia for us earlier this year. They might be a bit more expensive ( don't know what One Way Services charges) but are reliable and get the job done.

If you are not in a rush for an NIE, that's good as it's the same kind of appointments as for Residencia, as Marcliff said, difficult to get right now.

This must be playing havoc with the housing market if new buyers can't get an NIE at the moment...

I would second SGM in Benijofar. Shiva sorted my NIE v quickly.

I've used SGM Abogados previously and would also generally recommend them; however, being lawyers they are quite a lot more expensive for services that a good gestor can do. For an NIE, I would recommend Sunflower, also in Benijofar:
