It is a legal requirement in Spain to pay Non-resident tax each year. We have had a Fiscal representative who sorts out all our taxes every year since we bought our holiday home 11 years ago. It's not a pointless exercise I'm afraid.

Give SGM Abagados in Benijofar a call. Silvia Galve has been brilliant with me for many years and I highly reccomended her and her team. Plus her prices are great too and nothing is too much trouble. The office number is 965724871.

Hi...just a cautionary note....irrespective of what advice an Abagado may give a non residence tax will have to be paid. Tax and Death are the only certain things in life.

I think if you don't pay it then it becomes a charge against the property that attracts interest and will have to be paid when you try to sell your property and with interst could amount to a lot over a few years

Yes we did ours through an English company £25 for both and then when we went over in September just took the forms to the bank and paid up, couldn't be easier!
