Help needed to apply for residencia

Hi,

After owning a property in Spain for 14 years, we will be hopefully be moving to Spain next year, for around 5 months to start with (to see if we get bored), then decide whether to make the move full term, but i think its a no brainer that we will decide to make it permanent.

We would like to apply for residency so we can legally stay longer than the 90 days before the brexit dog bites (or not) but after reading so many tales of woe on this, we would like to either have someone complete the whole process, or accompany us through this process.

Is there anyone that can be recommended to help with this?

Thanks

Phil

Go and see Jayne or Matt at one way services in quesada ...they won't rip you off unlike loads of other people who will charge you €100 to 150 per person

I thought you didnt need to apply for residencia unless you were here over 183 days not 90?

Go to see Matt at One Way Services in Quesada. They will do everything for you, take you to the police station and within ten minutes you will be sorted. Excellent and they charged us 50€ each. Well worth it! You will need passports, NIE and Padron.

Believe you will also need proof of income , and if not working in Spain and paying into the system you will need private health care if not of pension age ...

Jayne and Matt will tell you exactly what you need ....and not bits and pieces of info which may be wrong ....proberly like I have just done

In rojales / quesada ...it's a case of having a passport NIE and proof of address ...such as water electricity bill with your name and address ....go to the town hall ...
Believe once you have the pardon ...you go downstairs and lady issues you with a SIP health card
Once again different areas may differ ....think it has to be renewed every so often ...haven't been in Spain long ourselves so still finding out different things

I thought the EHIC covered emergency health care if not a full resident, working in the UK and below pension age?

I am going to speak to some of the recommendations given, so many thanks for those contacts.

If you're in Playa Flamenca (not Quesada as your profile states) then you can get a temporary padron for the purposes of taking out residency. This will be valid for 3 months so you can start the procedure and will be issued by your town hall.
