Sip card

Hi, we have an Apartment on La Finca Golf, Algorfa. We are not residents here, we come and go throughout the year. We understand it is difficult to get a sip card in almoradi but easier in Rosales.

Does Rojales cover Algorfa? If so, what do we need to take to get a sip card? We do not have a Padron certificate at present but do pay Suma on our apartment and Spanish car.

Many thanks for any advice

As a non resident you are not entitled to a SIP card

We found Almoradi were very easy. Just walked in and out in 30 mins with sip.

No, Rojales does not cover Algorfa.
Some town halls, Rojales being one, will issue a temporary SIP. This is done on the basis of you having property here and a EHIC. It simply saves you showing your EHIC and them completing the forms every time you go to see a doctor.
In some cases the medical centre will issue a temporary SIP with your EHIC for the same reasons.
Check with both your town hall (not Rojales) and your medical centre.

".....but do pay Suma on our apartment and Spanish car." And presumably you're also submitting your Non-Resident Tax Returns and paying the associated tax on your property as well??

As Marcliff has already told you, Algorfa does not come under Rojales - why should Rojales provide and process your health care needs, when you don't even live there? And why would others who do live in Rojales encourage you to do this?? Words fail me.....

I think it was just an honest query to see if Algorfa comes under Rojales. Bit strange round here as Lo Crispin comes under Algorfa but Quesada and Benijofar come under Rojales.

Yes, it was just an honest enquiry. We are not trying to get away with anything and wish to comply with the rules and regulations that exist.... or don’t exist as we have come to experience. So no need to get on your high horse. I always find that those who take the high ground and patronise others are the worst offenders. Best you go get a life as you don’t seem to have much of one!
