They wont give out anymore sip cards if you are not resident at least where we have gone just say not there problem, so now we go private, they wont give us a padron either!!

We still go to Rojales Town hall and renew our Padron (upstairs) and get our sip cards ( downstairs).

It is also very important to be on the Padron in case you need a Care Home in the future (I know not the best of subjects) and you have to have been on it for 5 years.

Never heard of any problems with Rojales town hall and you can get advice in the Quesada municipal centre too. You can also apply for a Padron there, we got ours done in Quesada. Just go in and ask they are very helpful.

Rojales, and Quesada, are bending the rules on this. Since 2011, the government have clarified that only those permanently resident in the area should be on the padron. So you should only go on it if you are residents here.
Yes, I know Rojales have been doing them for non-residents but they shouldn't.
