We currently live in Quesada but moving to La marina urb.
Does anyone know where we would go for Padron.
Also if we get this soon (ie november before brexit) could we still register for residency early next year when we qualify for state pension? Not got sufficient savings or income yet.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a feeling that La Marina is under San Fulgencio..the town hall is by the square..just along from the church

La Marina has a branch of the Town Hall in La Marina. It is located near tourist information, you can apply for pardon there, but you will need to make an appointment.

If you are not a resident then you should not be on the Padron it is only for residents

Catch 22.... and you can't get residency without being on the padron in Alicante.

AFAIK some ayuntamientos will allow a 3 month temporary certificate for your residency application.

Thanks Paul it was the temporary one I meant, simply to prove we were living here before brexit. As i said on my original question.
Unlike some people we are not lucky enough to have things in place thanks to brexit.
