It may help if you can indicate why you were denied residencia in March.
Did you appeal? did you have professional representation? Are you still in Spain? Are you a UK passport holder?

There are/were a number of organisations, paid for by the UK government, to assist UK applicants with their applications. The service was free and we found them very useful.

We did have lawyers who had details of us being here and renting since oct last year. We were apparently denied because we did not have a padron before 31st Dec. They have evedence of us being here. We left in early April as we had to, didn't have any more info to give lawyers so did not appeal. We are now back after purchasing a home and looking for a way to reapply.

In order to take advantage of the withdrawal agreement you had to be able to prove that you were legally resident in Spain prior to 31st December 2020. Legal residence included being on the padron and having full health insurance (private or via S1).

You could contact https://asociacionbabelia.org/en/uk-nationals/ to see if they could help. failing that you would have to apply for the NLV from the UK. See http://www.exteriores.gob.es/Consulados/LONDRES/en/Consulado/Pages/Visas.aspx for the types of visas and application forms

Good luck

That's not how it works. An appeal would have examined the evidence you had presented to determine if the rejection was correct or not, also the launching of an appeal would have allowed you to remain in country until it had been heard.

What did your rejection notice state as the reason?

Sounds like you may have been poorly advised.

It was because we weren't on the padron before Brexit. We wasn't aware that we could be as it was all new to us.
